Greetings!
First, it has been wonderful to see so many over the month of July, as we welcomed members of Roxboro U.C. into our midst. As we move into August, I hope that you find worship at Roxboro (10:00 a.m. each Sunday) to be a meaningful, worshipful experience.
Second, I would like to send you an announcement made by Brian Bourne last Sunday. Thanks to Brian for this, and all his work in regards the subject of this announcement.
Greetings!
It is summer, and our worship life continues. This is just a reminder that for the month of July, our services continue at Valois. Following the retirement of Dr. Jim Lindsay, musical leadership for this month, in a variety of forms, is provided by some of our own talent. (More volunteers are welcome - just let me know!)
(Work is progressing on finding new musical leadership, with interviews beginning this weekend.)
Hope to see you soon!

Greetings to you all!
Margaret (Margie) Miller, who was a part of worship and life of Valois United for many years until she moved to the Wales Home in Richmond in 2004, passed away this week at the age of 89. The funeral service will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11:00 at the Collins-Clarke funeral home (Cartier). Please keep the family in your prayers.
While I am writing, a reminder that services will continue at Valois through the rest of June and for all of July, at 10:00 a.m. as usual. This year we will not head to Roxboro until August.

Greetings!
On this Sunday we will be officially saying "Farewell" to Dr. James Lindsay, our organist and choir director (who, in fact, will be with us to the end of June, but this is a good time to celebrate his ministry in our midst).
Our emphasis in worship this week will be on music, including congregational, children's choir, a classical trio and our own choir.
Service is at 10:00 a.m. and special refreshments follow.
